Dr. Charles joined the Beechwood team in the summer of 2021 as Drs Dan and Cal prepared for retirement. He was born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo and while growing up, was an avid athlete playing soccer, football and track and field. After high school, he attended the University of Guelph and played football for the Gryphons and then later the Waterloo Warriors.
Dr. Charles graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in Human Kinetics in 2012 and continued on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2019.

Throughout his time as an athlete, he experienced multiple injuries and was exposed to a variety of different therapies and treatment styles. It was from these that he has developed a style of treatment that is adaptable to each person whom he treats.
Dr. Charles continues to be active playing golf, recreational flag football and soccer. He spends his spare time spending quality time with his partner Sylvia, working out, reading, playing video games, watching football and soccer.
Professionally he is a past member of the Waterloo Regional Chiropractic Society and is an ongoing member of the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Associations.
